Maitake Mushroom Recipes
We don’t always have fresh Maitake in stock, as they have to either be freshly foraged or grown in their own dedicated fruiting chamber. But we do sometimes bring them to market and to our CSA offerings, and they are a real treat to cook and eat!
We’ve been wanting to try another air-fried mushroom after how well our Air Fried Oyster Mushrooms turned out, so these feathery, layered Maitake mushrooms were the perfect excuse! Combined with lightly spicy Bang Bang sauce, this feels like the Bloomin’ Onion of mushrooms.
Maitake mushrooms are such a treat, we always want to make sure that they are the highlight of any dish they’re featured in. These feta-rubbed maitake mushrooms are the perfect savory, salty, creamy dish.
Mushroom toast is the PERFECT breakfast or snack option. Seriously, if you haven’t tried it, get some mushrooms on your toast ASAP because there is no going back. This recipe has a nice miso honey glaze, and pairs sautéed maitake with rich triple-cream cheese.
